MMS Recovery is looking for breakdown / recovery controllers / dispatchers to join our Organisation based in Wolverhampton. Previous experience of the Police ELVIS system and APEX is essential - we are looking for an experienced breakdown/recovery controller to join our team and previous experience is essential
Overview of duties include:
* Answering phone calls
* Organising accident / breakdowns recoveries
* Dispatching accident and breakdown jobs to drivers
* Liasing with the Police, customers and insurance companies over the phone.
* Organising daily paperwork and filing
* Driver Support
* Four on Four off 12 hour day shifts, 7 pm to 7am. Shifts rota
Must be able to pass Police Vetting.
In-depth view of duties / responsibilities:
Applicant will be based at our main control office just outside Wolverhampton centre and will be part of a team which help run the control room. Reporting to the company director when required to do so.
Answering the phone, responding to customer / client calls in a professional manner. Some circumstances require quick assessments to understand the event.
Some customers may have been involved in crashes, and may need reassurance.
Local geographical knowledge is useful.
Making calls out to clients / customers / service providers to obtain ETA's or vehicle locations. Customers require updates. Parts need ordering for some roadside jobs from local suppliers.
MMS use software for dispatching recovery jobs to drivers, APEX RMS and Police ELVIS systems, which training will be given, however, good computer knowledge and use of Microsoft Office is preferred as basic knowledge. Online tracker software is utilised on our vehicles. It will be part of the duties to ensure vehicles are monitored for locations and correct vehicle is dispatched to each job.
MMS is looking for reliable, hardworking and punctual applicants, these are the most important qualities the company is looking for. Training will be provided, however, previous experience is preferred.
