Area Sales Manager - Scotland

Splitting time between field-based and home-based work, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving B2B sales and generating new business opportunities by promoting tools and equipment to the construction sector. The role requires strong field sales experience and involves meeting clients face-to-face across the region. Attending trade shows to network and showcase products will also be a key part of the position.
This is a hybrid role for individuals based in Scotland.
Responsibilities
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to closing deals.
* Maintain relationships with new and existing accounts
* Oversee a portfolio of existing accounts within the assigned territory.
* Identify new business opportunities through various outreach methods.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in both prospective and existing accounts.
* Attend trade shows & industry events when necessary
The Successful Candidate
* 3+ years of B2B sales experience
* Field sales experience is essential
* Experience selling manufacturing products or tools is ideal
* Experience selling to industrial suppliers and retail partners is ideal
* Happy to overnight stay if necessary
* Full UK driving license is required
* Based in Scotland
