JOB DESCRIPTION & SELECTION CRITERIA Housekeeper Henley Regatta – Monday 30th June to Sunday 6 th July 2025 £13 per hour Role & Person Outline Regatta is a six-day event set in the grounds of Phyllis Court Club, on the banks of the River Thames. As a Housekeeping Assistant you will help keep our Club clean and looking beautiful. Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our 17 bedrooms, all public areas including bars, restaurants, lounges and bathrooms and the Fitness Centre. The role will include shift work including early mornings, evenings and weekends. The role involves walking, standing, and bending, but may also involve lifting and carrying heavy items. The role is very hands on, so a can do, and proactive approach is essential and forms part of our ‘One Team’ ethos. CRITERIA You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this role. You must be available for work for the full 7-day period between 30 th June and 6 th July 2025 – early shifts shifts starting as early as 06.00 and late shifts ending as late as 22.00. Provide excellent customer service and provide assistance to customers at the event. Clean bathrooms. Making beds and dust guest bedrooms. Hoovering. Public area cleaning. Supporting with linen. Act in a professional manner at all times whilst representing Phyllis Court Club. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS YOU WILL NEED Ability to lift, carry and stand on your feet for long periods each day. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to work long hours. Ability to work as part of a team in a public facing environment. Ability to communicate effectively. Ensure a smart image and appearance at all times, adhering to the standards of dress policy. UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS You will be provided with a branded polo shirt but should be able to provide your own black trousers, black socks and sensible black shoes for duration of Regatta
