We're looking for an exceptional Food Technician to become a vital part of our community and provide full technician support to Food Technology teaching staff (particularly in the preparation and clearing of lesson materials).
* The successful candidate will work 19.5 hours per week across 3 days (8.15am - 3.30pm Wednesday to Friday)
* This is a 39-week-per-year role, which includes term time and non-pupil days.
A Day In The Life
You\'ll be responsible for the following areas:
* Assisting with the ordering and maintenance of supplies for the department.
* Assisting teaching staff in the preparation of resources/ingredients for lessons.
* Assisting students in lessons with access to resources as appropriate.
* Clearing classrooms/work areas after lessons, undertaking washing up, cleaning of work surfaces, return of resources to appropriate storage etc as required.
* Providing technical support for Food Technology staff and students at all times.
