Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive and inclusive school in Hounslow. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, offering the chance to work closely with students who need tailored support to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs
* Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering adapted lessons
* Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Monitor student progress and report to teaching staff and SENCO
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have prior experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred)
* Be patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be flexible and adaptable to meet student needs
* Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
