IT Support and Training Analyst | York
Office based with travel between sites
The Opportunity
A blended IT Support and Training Analyst role within a well established professional services environment.
This is a people focused position, combining:
1. End user training and system adoption
2. First line and selective second line IT support
3. Process improvement and change delivery
You will work closely with the Head of IT and department leads to improve system usage, embed best practice and ensure technology supports operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
4. Deliver one to one and group training on core IT systems and Microsoft 365
5. Support onboarding and induction for new starters
6. Create and maintain user guides, training materials and reference documentation
7. Develop super users across departments to drive local ownership
8. Monitor system usage and identify proactive training needs
IT Support
9. Provide first line support and appropriate second line escalation within a small IT team
10. Troubleshoot system and process related issues
11. Maintain service levels across a multi site environment
Projects and Change
12. Support IT and business change initiatives
13. Assist with system rollouts and improvement programmes
14. Work with department heads to streamline workflows and promote best practice
About You
15. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and core IT systems
16. Experience delivering user training and supporting system adoption
17. Confident communicator, able to adapt style to different stakeholders
18. Proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge and improve processes
19. Comfortable balancing support tickets, training delivery and project work
20. Full driving licence and willing to travel between Yorkshire offices
