An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a leading team renowned for providing tailored legal advice to individuals and families. This is an ideal role for a proactive and client-focused Solicitor with a proven track record in managing private client matters. The position offers the chance to build lasting relationships with clients while managing a diverse and rewarding caseload.
The role primarily involves preparing and advising on wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), with additional responsibilities in probate, trust work and estate administration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including wills, LPAs and probate, with minimal supervision.
2. Provide expert advice on estate administration and private trusts.
3. Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service.
4. Work collaboratively within a supportive team and independently as needed.
Essential Attributes:
1. Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in Private Client law.
2. Proven experience managing wills, LPAs, probate and trust matters.
3. Strong ability to work independently while handling a busy and varied caseload.
4. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
5. Proactive and confident in networking and business development activities.
Desirable Attributes:
1. STEP qualification or working towards it.
2. Experience in complex estate planning and working with high-net-worth clients.
3. Knowledge of tax law as it applies to trusts and estates.
