About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor / Cover Teacher, you will supervise lessons during teacher absences, following pre-prepared plans and ensuring students remain focused and productive. You will provide classroom support, manage behaviour, and maintain a safe and positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise secondary school classrooms across Key Stages 3 and 4 Deliver pre-set lessons and ensure students stay on task Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement Support students’ learning where needed Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson progress and behaviour Requirements: Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Confidence supervising groups of students across different subjects Professional, reliable, and adaptable approach This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working in secondary schools in Sheffield, supporting students and maintaining continuity of learning.
