Job overview

To support the needs of the Specialist Medicine Care Group Management Team with duties including managing diaries, minute taking, setting up and managing databases and organising meetings. A high level of computer literacy is required.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.

Person specification


Education/ Qualifications

* Typing qualification to RSA II level or equivalent practical experience
* NVQ 3 in Business Administration or similar area or equivalent level of experience
* Hold a minimum of three GCSE 9-4 passes or equivalent
* Relevant IT qualification or equivalent level of experience
* RSA III Audio Typing Shorthand


Experience

* Experience of working in an office environment
* Able to demonstrate secretarial experience supporting a busy senior management team
* Experience in using electronic scheduling/diary systems
* Evidence of effective use of MS Office packages including Windows, especially regular use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Evidence of effective use of bespoke IT systems.


Communication and Interpersonal Skills

* Skills, Knowledge and Ability Experience of working in a customer facing environment (face to face and on the telephone) demonstrating positive customer service skills
* Excellent telephone skills and telephone manner
* Minute taking skills
* Able to work well using own initiative
* Able to demonstrate problem solving ability

* Able to deal with conflicting priorities and a complex workload
