Job Summary The Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing electrical engineering projects from design through installation and commissioning. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards while coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients. Key Responsibilities Plan, and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion Develop project schedules, budgets, and technical documentation Review electrical drawings and specifications Coordinate with project managers, designers, contractors, and suppliers Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations Monitor project progress and resolve technical or scheduling issues Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work quality and adherence to design Manage change orders and support cost control efforts Prepare project reports, as-built documentation, and closeout packages Qualifications Experience in electrical engineering or project-based roles Knowledge of electrical and control systems Experience with project management principles and tools Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards Excellent communication and coordination skills Preferred Skills & Experience Experience in water utilities, power, general industrial projects Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Work Environment Combination of office-based engineering work and on-site project support May require travel to project sites as needed Benefits Salary £45k - £55k depending on experience Overtime possible 25 days Holiday Bank holidays Professional development and training opportunities
