Team Leader - Great Yarmouth Permanent | Must hold a full UK Driving Licence | £15.75 per hour 36 hours per week. 21 hours on shift working Days and Sleep-ins and 15 hours off shift admin/leadership. We are looking for a confident and experienced Team Leader to manage a dedicated support package in Great Yarmouth. This is a blended role, combining 12 hours of off-rota leadership and management duties with 24 hours of direct support each week. You’ll oversee and develop a team of support workers, ensuring consistent, high-quality care is delivered for an individual living in their own home. This person lives with a Learning Disability, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy but this does not define them, they love to go into the community and spending time with family and friends Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management (15 hours per week, off rota) Lead and supervise a team of support workers, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback. Manage staff performance, training compliance, and professional development. Oversee rotas, care plans, risk assessments, and accurate record keeping. Uphold CQC standards and organisational policies, ensuring safe and compliant practice. Run regular team meetings, lead debriefs after incidents, and escalate to CCMs when required. Direct Support (21 hours per week, on rota) Work alongside your team to deliver safe, personalised support. Promote and enable enriching activities that reflect individual interests and goals. Model best practice and embed a strong person-centred culture in daily care. Build positive relationships with the individual and their family to support continuity of care. About You Previous leadership experience within health and social care. Strong knowledge of Complex Care, managing multiple allergies, Supporting behaviours perceived as challenging and mental health support. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the confidence to make decisions and manage risk. Based locally in Great Yarmouth(or nearby), with a full UK driving licence.
