We are looking for detail-oriented and highly organised individuals, with experience in higher education administration, to join our team as an Academic Quality and Standards Officer. About the role In this role you will be able to play a vital part in supporting the university’s commitment to maintaining and enhancing academic quality and standards and ensuring external and internal compliance. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation, and review of academic quality assurance processes. Coordinate programme approval, review, and revalidation processes. Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, reviews, and inspections. Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities and committee outcomes. Provide administrative support to quality-related committees and working groups, including minute-taking and action tracking. Contribute to the development of guidance materials and training for staff on quality assurance procedures. Use University systems to collate data to support quality assurance reporting. About you You will have: Experience in higher education administration, preferably with experience of committee work. Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft formal documentation. Confidence in working with data and producing reports. A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships. Interest in higher education and helping to improve the quality of education.
