We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join the friendly Statom Plant team
LocationThurrock (relocating to Barking within the next 12 months)
Working HoursMonday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 or 06:00 to 15:00 (split shift)
Key responsibilities
- Daily costings to charge sites
- Generating drivers work schedule and sending to drivers
- Print off paperwork to collate and issue to drivers
- Raising purchase orders for external hauliers
- Dealing with stakeholders, suppliers, job sites
- Applying for movement orders for wide loads/STGO
- Download vehicle and drivers’ tachograph cards to upload for analysis
- Assist in the planning/scheduling of logistic operations
Requirements
Experience & skills required
Essential
- Previous experience with logistics operations/requirements administration
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (word/excel etc.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and to demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team, independently and under pressure
Desired
- Understanding of the construction industry
- Knowledge of logistic operations
- Knowledge/understanding of Drivers’ Hours Rules and WTD
- Knowledge of FORS requirements
