An excitingopportunity to join the Caretaking Team working across CityCare sites.
Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for unlocking and locking and securing premises,they will also ensure the premises are Health & Safety compliant by carryingout general maintenance and caretaking duties within them.
The successfulcandidate should enjoy working as part of a team and should be flexible tocover additional sites as and when required.

Main duties of the job
To open and or lock premises each day, ensuring premises are secured atthe end of the day
To work alongside the Health Centre Manager in ensuring a safe workingenvironment in particular storerooms, boiler housing, out buildings and external areasaround the site.
To complete andrecord weekly Fire Alarm Testing and to ensure the safe working of fire doorsas directed.
To be responsible for sorting, checking and distributing weeklydeliveries.

Job responsibilities
To ensure anydefects are reported to the Health Centre Manager and to undertake generalmaintenance duties.
To supportpremises activities, for example, by preparing rooms for meetings and clinics.
To maintainexternal areas e.g. entrances, car parks, bin stores and gardens to ensure it iskept clean and tidy at all times.
To collect anddispose of waste materials ensuring that all waste disposal and Health &Safety procedures are followed.
To undertaketraining relevant to position to ensure adherence to policies and procedures egHealth & Safety, Personal Safety, Fire Safety, Moving & Handling.
To obtainmonthly meter readings for Gas, Electricity and Water.
To assistContractors when on site.
To check andrespond to emails on a daily basis.
To followCityCares tracking procedure at the start and end of shift to ensure safe andwell.
To work part asa team and to provide cover at other Health Centre premises as required.
To work flexiblyand to undertake any other appropriate duties as required by the Health CentreManager including general cleaning.
