GSL Education is currently looking to recruit motivated and flexible Supply Teachers to work across secondary schools in Withernsea. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy delivering engaging, pre-planned lessons while maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment in the absence of the usual class teacher.
Supply Teacher Requirements:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Recent teaching experience within the last two years.
* Strong classroom presence and excellent behaviour management skills.
* Confident communicator, able to build rapport with students and staff.
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for one via GSL Education.
* Ability to quickly adapt to new school environments and routines.
Supply Teacher Responsibilities:
* Deliver prepared lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
* Manage the classroom effectively and follow the school’s behaviour policy.
* Accurately record attendance and report any issues or concerns to relevant staff.
o Provide support and guidance to students, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
o Supervise pupils during lessons, break times, and lunch periods where required.
