Job Description
As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in determining regulatory requirements through all phases of project delivery. Working in the Data Engineering department, you will interpret international gambling regulatory technical specifications to supply information to government bodies, fostering a shared understanding across stakeholders and internal teams.
* Provide comprehensive documentation and decision logging that can be worked on alongside Technical Leads and the wider team to deliver technical solutions.
* Contribute to delivering future regulatory projects and improving documentation of existing systems for current regulated markets.
* Work within a hybrid working policy and collaborate across cross‑functional teams using agile principles.
Qualifications
* Significant commercial experience as a Product or Business Analyst.
* Experience interpreting requirements from third‑party documentation with limited, indirect channels.
* Proven ability to foster collaboration across key stakeholders to clarify and document requirements.
* Strong technical documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working within a cross‑functional delivery team utilising agile principles.
* Proactive approach to clarify regulatory reporting requirements.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple streams of work, adapting to changing conditions.
* Experience working within a regulatory or commercial gambling environment is desirable.
* Experience of working with AI tools.
Additional Information
* Reviewing international gambling regulatory requirement specifications to gain a deep understanding of applicable regulations.
* Providing clarity and agreement on the interpretation of regulatory requirements with key stakeholders.
* Collaborating with Finance, Tax and Compliance departments to resolve regulatory queries and support development timelines.
* Writing high‑standard regulatory specification documents to enable technical solutions.
* Managing decision logs to enable a clear audit trail of key decisions.
* Integrating into the development function to link key stakeholders and the technical information required by the team.
* Identifying and implementing improvements to work practices, processes and deliverables to support the delivery of high‑quality software.
* Mentoring, coaching and providing guidance to junior members of the team.
* Understanding existing regulatory reporting systems and the interpretations implemented.
* Producing and maintaining post‑release documentation and change capture.
* Utilising AI tools to enhance analysis and reporting processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in regulatory compliance tasks and exploring innovative AI solutions to streamline workflows and improve project delivery.
