PET is an established well known Warehouse and Logistics Company that has been trading for 33 years, we deal with a variety of aspects from Palletways Network, General Haulage, Imports/Exports, Logistics and Warehousing of goods in our 75,000 sqft premises based in East Goscote.
We require a Customer Services/ Transport Coordinator to join our busy and expanding company.
Responsibilities:
* Handling a wide variety of customer enquirers and issues
* Coordinating with other depots within the network to solve any customer/ driver issues.
* Assisting in monitoring the progress of the entire operation.
* Helping to plan and organise the collections and deliveries as well as the loading of the night trunk vehicles.
* Make pro-active calls to keep in touch with current customers.
* To be able to have open communication with warehouse staff and drivers.
* Customer Services and normal offices responsibilities from filing to spread sheets etc.
* More opportunities and responsibilities to be gained as the business continues to grow.
Required skills:
* Experience in customer services and logistics is essential.
* Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Good IT knowledge, with an understanding of Microsoft Office programs and Outlook.
* Self-motivated with ambition to grow with the business.
* Have ability to make decisions based on information received and to resolve problems using own initiative.
* To be able to work within a team and in a fast, busy office environment.
* Must have an exceptional telephone manner; handling calls professionally at all times.
* Ability to priorities work
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to problem-solve.
* Excellent communication skills.
This job would be office based, dealing with customers, suppliers and drivers. Training will be provided on an ongoing basis.
Hours are 8am until finish (usually between 5:30 – 6.30pm)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.55 per hour
