Overview
Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker Mental Health – Band 3. Inpatient Mental Health team in the North East of Glasgow. The inpatient occupational therapy team works across the inpatient site including adult acute admissions, older people’s mental health and rehabilitation.
The postholder will support ward based therapeutic activity prescribed by the qualified occupational therapist, home visits and community work, facilitate group and individual work, and will receive supervision and support the development of the clinical support worker. An occupational therapist will provide specialist assessments to this patient group and allocate work to the postholder.
The shift pattern for this post is 5/7 shifts.
Applicants should have an HNC in occupational therapy or equivalent qualifications and/or experience. Candidates should be well motivated, flexible and have excellent communication skills. Previous work experience as an occupational therapy support worker or equivalent would be desirable. Regular clinical supervision will be provided.
