We are supporting our client, a fast‑growing organisation within the HVAC and building controls sector, in their search for an experienced Purchasing Manager. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives on strategic procurement, supplier management and driving efficiency across a global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals
* Lead the SIOP process, ensuring safety stocks are maintained
* Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand
* Identify and deliver cost savings safely and effectively
* Manage supplier relationships and lead contract negotiations
* Own key supply chain KPIs, including OTD, stock days and inventory value
* Oversee purchasing activity using Dynamics Connect (or similar ERP)
* Manage and develop a direct report (Buyer)
Experience Required
* Proven procurement or supply chain experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial sectors
* Strong ERP competency (Dynamics Connect or similar)
* Skilled negotiator with a track record of securing favourable terms
* Understanding of logistics operations and supply chain optimisation
* Knowledge of procurement best practices and ethical sourcing
* Excellent organisational and multitasking ability
