Are you a dedicated, professional nurse with a passion for making a difference in the
lives of children and young people with Neurodisability?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent ( WTE) Band 7 Clinical Nurse
Specialist to join the Movement Disorder Service (MDS).
The service accepts referrals for tertiary / quaternary level multi-disciplinary clinics
which provide expert opinion /second opinion to referrers, as well as ongoing support
& advice to families, referring teams and the wider specialism. The friendly and
welcoming multidisciplinary team also provide acute interventional services for
Botulinum Toxin, and SDR, including an acute rehabilitation service, as well as ad
hoc in-patient consults in relation to management of movement disorders for acute
patients within the trust.
Main duties of the job
As the CNS you must possess excellent communication and strong leadership skills
to ensure the families are provided with high quality care and a smooth patient journey.
The applicant should be able to demonstrate their ability to work well within a
multidisciplinary team.
