You will deliver 1:1 and small group intervention, reinforce learning from lessons, and feed back clearly to teachers on pupil progress. Teaching assistants support teachers to enhance pupils’ learning, while secondary teachers work with pupils aged 11 to 16, or up to 19 in schools with sixth forms. The Candidate: You are articulate, organised, and able to explain ideas clearly in a way pupils understand. You want practical secondary school experience, enjoy helping students improve in English, and are keen to develop the classroom skills needed for a future in teaching.
