Weekend ECC Veterinary Surgeon – Thurmaston, Leicestershire

The Vet Office is recruiting on behalf of a 24-hour veterinary hospital in Thurmaston, Leicestershire, which is looking for a confident and experienced Veterinary Surgeon with proven sole-charge experience to join its weekend Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) team.
The Role
This is a part-time position working 1 in 4 weekends, covering:
* Saturday and Sunday
* 9:00am – 7:00pm
The role is ideal for vets seeking to enhance their ECC experience, maintain clinical exposure, or supplement income while working within a highly supported hospital environment.
You will manage a varied ECC caseload and be fully supported on shift by:
* An experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
* A rotational Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA)

About You
* Qualified Veterinary Surgeon
* MRCVS registered or eligible for registration
* Proven sole-charge experience
* Confident managing ECC cases
