Vehicle Technician (Level 2/3) – York Ward & Rowlatt
Location: Wellingborough
Salary: Competitive + £2,000 direct‑apply signing‑on bonus
Hours: Full time (Mon–Fri) + occasional Saturdays (1 in 6)
At York Ward & Rowlatt, exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything we do — and our technicians play a vital part in delivering it. We are expanding our Aftersales team and are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join our workshop.
An MOT licence is preferred, but we will provide MOT training within 3 months for the right candidate.
The Role
As a key member of our workshop team, you will:
Service, maintain and repair customer vehicles to the highest standards
Work confidently across all areas of vehicle maintenance
Aim for first‑time fix quality in all work
Support our growing Electric Vehicle centre with future opportunities in EV diagnostics and battery repair
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
(30‑minute lunch + two 15‑minute breaks)
Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm (1 in 6 rota)
About You
You will need:
NVQ Level 2 (minimum) in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Proven experience as a vehicle technician
Your own tools
Full UK driving licence
