Are you a high performing planner who wants to develop with a clear path to becoming a head of planning?
You would be working with a national house builder known for luxury homes in sought-after locations across the East Midlands.
If you are currently at another developer or consultancy looking to move to a client who builds luxury, environmentally-friendly homes, this could be the opportunity for you.
We are seeking an ambitious planning manager to advance to senior planning manager, with the potential to become Head of Planning within 12 months for a Cambridgeshire-based developer. You will be a key driver as their business develops, reporting directly to the regional land director and managing director, while managing existing planning applications independently.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, ambitious, and eager to succeed. The business operates in a fast-paced environment, offering significant autonomy.
You should be currently employed at a planning consultancy or property developer/house builder with extensive experience in residential planning applications and appeals. A degree and MRTPI qualification are required.
The salary range is £60-80k, complemented by a comprehensive package and flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading and developing a team of planners.
* Engaging with local authorities and stakeholders to align projects with strategic objectives.
* Formulating and presenting planning applications and communicating with regulatory bodies.
* Resolving complex planning and zoning issues.
* Staying updated with planning regulations and industry best practices.
Key Requirements:
* Degree qualified and MRTPI
* Experience with planning consultancies or residential developers, including strategic land
* Proven experience with residential planning applications and appeals
