Planning and Development Enforcement Team Leader – External
We’re looking for an experienced Planning Enforcement Team Leader to join our busy Planning and Development Team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a proactive enforcement team, managing a varied caseload that includes complex enforcement matters across both urban and rural areas of the district. We are looking for someone with experience of working in a planning enforcement role in a local planning authority, with a solid understanding of current planning and enforcement legislation and policy.
A recognised planning qualification to degree level or comparable professional experience in another enforcement environment is required. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to prioritise workloads effectively, and confident in communicating with a wide range of people. You’ll be motivated, resilient, and capable of working under pressure to meet challenging deadlines, while also being a team player. Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a proactive enforcement team and manage a varied caseload that includes complex enforcement matters across urban and rural areas.
* Utilise experience in planning enforcement within a local planning authority and apply knowledge of current legislation and policy.
* Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

* 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £41,771 - £46,142 plus £963 per annum essential car user allowance
