The post holder will be responsible for the Provision of comprehensive service in Medical Psychotherapy for the North West Sector of EPUT, covering Epping, Loughton, Harlow, Stanstead and Dunmow areas. The post holder will have responsibility for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorder, namely those with complex co-morbidity requiring an integrative psychiatric, psychological and psychotherapeutic approach, in liaison with other key services. The post holder will also provide clinical leadership and governance to ensure the proper functioning of the Psychotherapy Department and Complex Case Consultation Service. The department is consists of the Consultant Psychiatrist in Medical Psychotherapy, a part-time secretary and core psychiatric trainees who visit the department for training and service provision.
You must have full GMC registration and be on the Specialist Register, with an appropriate CCT or equivalent or be within six months of obtaining your CCT on the date of the AAC.
