If so, GSL Education are seeking confident and adaptable Graduate Cover Supervisors to work across schools in Newcastle starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are passionate about education and keen to develop their classroom management skills. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. Flexible day-to-day and long-term roles are available, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities to suit your availability. Responsibilities: Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure completion of assigned work Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Provide support and guidance to students as required Record and report on student behaviour and progress Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment Support general school duties when needed Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times To be a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you should have : A degree in any subject and experience with working with children are desirable.
