About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our team to meet the continually growing demand for the team's specialist services. We are looking for self-starting individuals who are happy with responsibility, want to work in a dynamic environment and have the flexibility to work on multiple engagements with different teams on a simultaneous basis.
The transfer pricing network provides advice to clients on all aspects of the UK and international transfer pricing regime, including the determination of arm's length comparables, policy formulation and documentation, tax audit defence and advanced pricing agreements, and reviewing the tax impact of commercial / business change in the organisation.
What you days will look like:
1. Working with the Deals Tax practice as a subject matter specialist
2. Undertaking transfer pricing planning and pricing implementation,
3. Involvement and coordination of European and global transfer pricing engagements working with specialists across our global network
4. Supporting companies through all elements of business change ( changes to manufacturing footprint, supply chain organisations, IP planning, etc.transfer of manufacturing to low cost jurisdictions, implementation of Swiss principal structures),
5. Supporting companies in pricing intercompany financing transactions, including long-term debt, cash pooling, etc.
This role is for you if:
6. Possess a Chartered Accountant (ACA ) or Chartered Tax Advisor (ATT, CTA) or equivalent international or legal professional qualification or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country."
7. A track record of delivering quality work for clients; demonstrating an understanding of the client's business and relevant professional standards and maintaining respectful client relationships. An ability to promptly address problems and maintain professional standards is key whilst working against tight deadlines.
8. Ability to build internal and external relationships and networks, both within the UK and overseas
9. Developed communication skills, specifically in negotiating with and influencing others
10. Strong analytical, project management and report writing skills.
11. An inquisitive mind and ability to solve problems as part of a diverse team
12. Ability to use tax technical knowledge & insights in a fast paced commercial environment
