Job Description:
A boutique hedge fund, with a sizeable, rapidly expanding AUM and recent market-leading performance, is looking to hire a new Head of Operations.
The firm is going through a strong period of growth and, following an internal restructure, will look to hire a backfill Head of Operations (including a handover period before the current head moves internally).
The hire will work a dual hands-on and management role within a small team, managing key internal and external stakeholders, and leading key projects such as building new tools, system implementations, and onboarding new service providers.
The ideal candidate will be a senior buy-side operations analyst or an existing operations manager seeking their first step into a Head of Operations role. Hands-on BAU experience is more important than managerial experience, though supervisory experience is advantageous. Strong academic records and industry qualifications are highly regarded.
The role offers a first-year salary of £140-170k TC, with strong expected year-on-year growth.
Remote work is possible for 2 days per week once the candidate is established in the role.
