The successful candidate will support the embedding and further expansion of digital projects, including making best use of the current equipment in place and introducing further types of digital equipment, into CQC registered care homes in the London Borough of Sutton. The successful candidate will work closely with the care homes to proactively identify, support and train care home staff with the use of digital equipment and be seen as the Digital Education Champion in that locality, promoting digital integration. They will provide digital and clinical training in the use of health-related digital equipment and any other associated training required to support digital enhancement. This will include but is not limited to Remote monitoring implementation, use of the Universal Care Plan and use of the London Shared Care record. The role requires supporting care staff to ensure they achieve the appropriate clinical competencies and embed into practice the assessment, escalation, and communication tools. A n understanding of the Restore2 process and teach to others. Could this be you? Experience of working in a healthcare setting Experience in caring for dying patients NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent Good level of literacy and numeracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise workload Ability to work without direct supervision in a patient s home A calm and sensitive approach Ability to work on own and as part of a team Ability to anticipate need Knowledge of care giving Empathy and understanding of issues encountered by patients with palliative care needs Ability to a flexible shift pattern Positive attitude A good basic knowledge of the local area Sutton/Merton Car Driver and access to a vehicle
