Accountant required to support an independent firm in Leeds on a temporary basis.
Your new companyYou’ll be joining a small independent accountancy firm based in Leeds, known for its friendly culture and hands-on approach to supporting local businesses. The team is close-knit, collaborative, and looking for a temporary member of staff during the busy summer months, commencing as soon as possible running until early September.
Your new roleAs a temporary Accountant, you’ll play a key role in preparing year-end accounts for a portfolio of small limited companies. Your work will help the firm stay on top of increased seasonal demand, ensuring clients receive accurate, timely financial information.You’ll be involved in tasks such as:Preparing year-end accounts - drafting accounts for small limited companies Reviewing client bookkeeping - ensuring records are complete before accounts preparationSupporting senior accountants - assisting with schedules, working papers, and any follow-up queriesLiaising with clients - clarifying queries, and ensuring smooth workflow during the busy period
