Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Bids and Frameworks, your responsibilities will include:
* Creating persuasive, client-focused content for complex bids and proposals.
* Collaborating with bid managers and subject matter experts to develop winning strategies.
* Conducting research and gathering evidence to support proposal content.
* Editing, proofreading, and ensuring the overall quality of submissions.
* Coaching and mentoring junior bid team members.
* Assisting bid/no-bid decisions and strategy meetings.
* Ensuring compliance with ITT requirements and deadlines.
* Translating complex technical information into clear and engaging content.
* Managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Maintaining a high standard of attention to detail.
Role requirements, skills and/or experience
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a bid writer in a similar professional services environment.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Strong research and analytical capabilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Understanding of UK procurement legislation.
* Full UK driving licence (essential due to office location).
Desirable
* Experience with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
* Familiarity with Adobe InDesign.
* APMP Accreditation
