The Role You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day transport operations of the business, delivering a reliable, compliant, and high-quality service to customers nationwide.
This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Collecting hazardous and non-hazardous waste and packaging across the UK Safe loading, securing, and transportation of goods in line with legislation Identifying and reporting non-compliant or unsafe loads in accordance with ADR regulations Ensuring full compliance with road safety and transport legislation Handling heavy packages using appropriate manual handling equipment when required Carrying out daily vehicle walkaround checks in line with company procedures Tachograph management and compliance Delivering vehicles and trailers for inspections and maintenance Liaising with Site Managers and operational teams Completing accurate paperwork and transport documentation Reporting incidents in line with company procedures Attending all mandatory training required for the role Operating other vehicle types when required Do you have what it takes? Essential Requirements Full UK driving licence Driver CPC qualification HGV CE licence ADR licence (Training can be provided) Ability to work away from home during the working week Strong time management and ability to work safely under pressure Commitment to high standards, compliance, and customer service Desirable Experience Waste logistics experience Flexibility for occasional weekend working What's in for you?
