Salary: £15.84 per hour from 1st Jan 26 – plus incentives
Hours: Full Time – 3 x 7pm‑7am shifts a week, including alternate weekends

A little about South Moor Lodge
South Moor Lodge is located in the idyllic village of Walkeringham, 5 miles west of Gainsborough. The home resides in a nineteenth‑century barn, carefully extended to preserve its character, with two acres of landscaped grounds and provides personal and dementia care for 41 residents.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
* Provide the highest possible levels of care, supporting residents in all daily living activities.
* Promote residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect; contribute to shift handovers.
* Lead your shift to maintain high standards and support team members.
* Complete daily medication rounds and document accurately; ensure daily charts meet a high standard.
* Promote good practice, challenge poor practice, conduct one‑on‑ones with care/support team members every two months, and investigate complaints and concerns as directed by the Home Manager.
Essential Requirements
* Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3 minimum).
* Minimum of two years’ experience as a Care Assistant in a residential/nursing home setting.
* Awareness of Person‑Centred Care Planning principles.
* Knowledge of preventing abuse of vulnerable adults, recognising signs of abuse and procedures for allegations.
* Live within 30 minutes of the Home.
Preferred Requirements
* Two years’ experience in a similar nursing‑home role.
* At least one year’s experience in a residential or nursing‑home setting.
* Two years’ experience in a Senior Care role in a residential or nursing‑home.
* One year experience caring for residents living with dementia.
* NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above.
* Knowledge of National Care Standards Act 2000.
* Experience conducting effective person‑centred one‑on‑ones.
* Team‑management experience.
