Why Do We Want You
Mercia, part of Wilmington plc, are seeking a proactive and efficient Administrator to join our In-house and Consultancy (IHC) team. This role, known internally as Inhouse & Client Relationship Administrator, requires a strong customer service background, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to support the delivery of our services.
You will manage the scheduling of inhouse products and services for Mercia clients, ensuring efficient processes, quick turnarounds, and excellent client service.

Job Purpose, Tasks, and Responsibilities
As an Administrator within the IHC team, you will ensure the smooth operation of our services, keeping systems, reports, and correspondence up to date.
You Will Also Be Responsible For
* Managing incoming sales leads and building client relationships.
* Acting as the main contact for calls and monitoring the inhouse mailbox.
* Overseeing our Technical Query service and systems.
* Ensuring compliance information is obtained from clients prior to reviews.
* Setting up course instances for inhouse courses, including Zoom sessions, and managing invitations.
* Generating and recording feedback reports and securing recordings of courses.
* Updating logs and databases, assisting with SDE management, and managing reports in OTIS.
* Building and maintaining professional client relationships.
* Handling confirmations, engagement terms, and managing inhouse casework.
* Providing administrative support such as postal services and invoicing.
* Diary management for the technical team and managing POs.
* Assisting with due diligence tests and competency checks.

Essential And Desirable Capabilities

* Experience in a customer service role.
* Strong English skills supported by GCSEs, Key Skills, or Functional Skills.
* Excellent IT skills with experience in various systems.
* Ability to work independently and support others.
* Confidence in a fast-paced environment.
* Managing multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and administrative skills.
* Diplomacy and self-confidence when dealing with clients and colleagues.
It would be advantageous if you have:
* Extensive experience in diary management and scheduling.
* Understanding of the accountancy industry.
* Experience with Salesforce.
* Good knowledge of Excel.
