A bit about the job: You'll join our Exposure Management team within Exposure Management, Pricing and Insight (EP&I). We help Aviva understand how events like storms, floods and cyber incidents could impact our customers and our business. You'll support our assessment of exposures across the world and help us develop our approach to new and emerging risks. Your work will support underwriters in making confident, informed decisions that protect both Aviva and our customers. You'll also help strengthen how we capture, manage and use risk data across the Commercial division. Duties & Responsibilities: Review and model exposure data using our catastrophe modelling tools. Work with underwriters to explain your analysis and support risk selection for global exposures. Help develop exposure management techniques for non-modelled perils and territories. Support data roll-up processes and reporting for the Commercial division, including monitoring limits. Prepare regulatory returns as required. Carry out data quality checks and work with underwriters to improve key inputs. Help capture and monitor exposures for non-property lines of business. Skills and experience we're looking for: Strong understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts with the ability to explain them clearly. Excellent attention to detail, with the confidence to check and challenge your own work. Good analytical, research and problem-solving skills, with a curious mindset. Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to translate analysis into insight. Experience working with data; exposure management or large-dataset experience is helpful but not essential.
