Andwis Lifts is a large independent UK national lift company providing professional lift maintenance, repairs, modernisations and new lift installations from 8 regional centres. We are privately owned by the senior management of the company with over 400 direct employees and a turnover in excess of £80 million. We have over 20,000 lifts under maintenance contracts, with customers ranging from household name retail brands, international hotel groups, schools and universities, hospitals to smaller nursing homes, residential developments and commercial facilities. We are seeking a service administrator to support our office. The role will involve a variety of administrative tasks, including but not limited to: Processing incoming deliveries – check correct items, label for relevant job, prepare for engineer to collect, update system Deal with general customer enquiries via phone & email Place purchase orders with suppliers Log new jobs within our job management system Raise and send minor quotes to customers following engineer visits Contact customers to arrange appointments for lift repair works Assist with the upkeep on the garage/stores area Carry out other general administrative duties as required Qualifications Required Grade 4 or above in English Language and Mathematics Desired skills required Attention to detail Organisation IT competence on basic Microsoft packages Desired personal Qualities Confident Eagerness to learn Working 35 hours 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Future Prospects : Depending on performance throughout the apprenticeship the successful candidate will have the opportunity to continue their employment following completion of their apprenticeship in a growing company.
