Role Description
The Project Manager will oversee the commissioning process from commencement to close out, leading, coordinating, tracking, and driving all stakeholder activities to ensure a successful conclusion.
Role may involve supporting multiple projects of various sizes and stages, with significant international travel to Finland.
Role Accountabilities
Design
* Review the design at key stages and provide comments regarding suitability for commissioning.
* Attend design reviews at key stages.
* Review specification commissioning clauses and support drafting.
Procurement
* Review Tender Documents and Trade Packages prior to issue to ensure scope supports commissioning requirements.
* Review Fee Proposals and Trade Contractor Tender Returns prior to appointment to ensure compliance.
Meetings
* Attend Quality Kick Off Meeting.
* Provide leadership support for site Quality Induction and audit delivery.
* Attend daily startup meetings, chair daily/weekly commissioning meetings.
* Attend weekly Quality Meeting and progress meetings reporting Commissioning Status.
* Attend site MEP coordination, pull planning, first‑of‑kind, preparatory, design review, and other project coordinator level meetings as required.
Reporting
* Generate commissioning Dashboard capturing stats, metrics, and reports of significant quality events.
* Provide data for Monthly DC Stat Report.
* Transfer lessons learned information between site teams.
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for candidates with:
* An in‑depth understanding of large‑scale technical projects and construction techniques.
* Ability to manage technical disciplines.
* Experience on Data Centre new build or refurbishment projects, preferably hyperscale builds.
* Ability and willingness to commit to significant international travel.
