Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in London, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion, for a Girls Knitwear Designer at BETTEX. The designer will be responsible for developing designs that align with seasonal trends and brand aesthetics. Day-to-day tasks include creating mood boards, conducting trend research, and producing sketches. The role also involves coordinating knitting processes, ensuring fit specifications, and collaborating with other design, production, and merchandising teams to deliver high-quality knitwear collections tailored for a global audience.
Qualifications
Proficiency in creating Mood Boards and Trend Research to align designs with current and upcoming market trends
Technical skills in Knitting and Sketching, with an emphasis on innovative and detailed design execution
Ability to oversee and manage Fitting processes to achieve great garment fit and quality
Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools
Experience in girls' fashion design or knitwear design is a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented, multicultural environment
