Welder / Fabricator - Ballymena & Kilrea (2 positions) - Permanent An established engineering firm based in Ballymena is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their expanding team. The company is recognised for its precision engineering and advanced metal fabrication services, supplying a wide range of industries including agriculture, materials handling, renewables, mining, and aerospace. About the role:
1. £16.50 per hour
2. Monday to Thursday (7.00am - 5.15pm)
3. Overtime: Paid at time and a half
4. 2 positions available!
5. Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
6. Interpret and work from engineering drawings to complete welding and fabrication tasks.
7. Produce high-quality welds and assemblies to company and customer specifications.
8. Perform tacking, MIG/TIG welding, and fabrication to precision standards.
9. Maintain equipment and troubleshoot welding settings or issues.
10. Work collaboratively within a skilled fabrication team to meet production deadlines.
What you'll need for this role:
11. Minimum 3 years’ welding experience in an engineering or fabrication environment.
12. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and fabrication processes.
13. Proven ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds.
14. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
