Our leading global consulting, construction engineering client is seeking Senior Project Managers on a permanent basis to support Severn Trent Water projects based out of Tamworth.

The Senior Project Manager will lead transformative infrastructure programmes across the UK, initially working on complex and AMP8 projects for Severn Trent Water. You will work across capital delivery programmes and have the chance work on rail, nuclear focused projects in the future.
Responsibilities
1. Take charge of multi-million-pound projects from early planning to final account
2. Lead NEC3/4 contracts with confidence and strategic clarity
3. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with industry leaders and clients
4. Use ECI/ESI to maximise project outcomes through intelligent design + build execution
5. Influence stakeholder decisions and supply chain performance at scale
6. Manage and administer NEC3/4 contracts (Options A, C & E) on the client side
7. Drive budget control, payment valuations, and monthly certifications with QS teams
8. Oversee forecasting and defined cost planning to ensure financial precision
9. Draft key contractual communications-EWNs, Compensation Events, and more
10. Scope projects and build accurate cost & feasibility studies
11. Prepare and evaluate tender documentation with sharp insight
12. Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
13. Collaborate closely with contractors during design phases
14. Lead project delivery and contract administration
15. Monitor project expenditure and manage cash flow with commercial discipline
16. Navigate change orders and variations with authority
17. Resolve claims and disputes, and final account reconciliation
18. Final accounts and post-project evaluation
19. Forge new business opportunities with both existing clients and new partners
20. Leverage cross-sector insights to identify and activate cross-selling opportunities
21. Collaborate closely with Programme Lead to shape compelling bids for new work
Skills/qualifications
22. Bachelor's or master's Degree qualification in a numeric degree
23. Full Membership of chartered body such APM at MAPM.
24. Valid CSCS card; Water Hygiene Card (desirable)
25. NEC (3/4) accreditation (preferred)
26. Familiarity with CDM regulations and risk management
27. This role is subject to client interview and acceptance
Benefits
28. Salary range £65-80k depending on experience
29. Monday - Thursday - 37.5 hour working week
30. 26 days holiday, increasing by 1 day for 1 year served and up to 28 after year 3
31. £3k car allowance for Senior level upwards
