Are you an ambitious Assistant Accountant or Financial Analyst looking to join a premier UK infrastructure and support services group?
We are looking for a proactive Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join a stable, growing finance function in Kettering. This role offers a unique chance to move beyond basic ledger work and get involved in high-level strategic resolution planning and a major ERP (COINS) implementation.
The Role
Joining a collaborative and professional team, you will be pivotal in maintaining financial accuracy and providing commercial clarity. Your responsibilities include:
* Financial Reporting: Supporting the production of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
* Project Oversight: Reconciling balance sheet accounts and monitoring project data to ensure precision in reporting.
* Systems & Integration: Playing a key role in the roll-out of a new COINS ERP system, helping to optimise internal processes.
* Analysis & Insight: Assisting with budgets and forecasts while providing data-driven support to non-financial managers.
* Compliance: Ensuring all activities align with group financial policies and supporting year-end audit cycles.
What Youll Bring
* Professional Progress: You should be Part-Qualified (AAT, or currently studying towards ACCA/CIMA).
* Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills are essential; experience with COINS software or the Construction/Utilities sector is highly desirable but not essential.
* Analytical Flair: A detail-oriented approach with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies independently.
