The role
comprises Routine and Ad Hoc activities, including but not limited to:
Routine
1. Preparing management accounts and monthly reporting
2. First point of reference for management accounts / routine accounting queries
3. Production of ad hoc reports and analysis as required.
4. Supporting other individuals in the finance team
5. Partnering with the wider business at different levels
6. Cashflow reporting
7. VAT returns
8. Payroll
9. Assisting with year-end audit
10. Costing and stock
11. Maintaining the existing suite of reports through SQL and Crystal Reports
Ad hoc
Support the Finance Director with:
12. The review and implementation of a new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) and the
13. Implementation and maintenance of Power BI reporting, transitioning away from crystal and SQL reporting
14. Champion process improvement projects and the drive for efficiency and cost savings across finance and businesses.
15. Some travel to one of the companies, subject to where the candidate is based. Expected to be minimal
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified/Part Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or with relevant experience.
Strong analytical skills
Excel to intermediate level
Confident communicator and team player
