Overview
We are recruiting for a Deputy Manager role at Aspris Children’s Services for our Mildenhall Children's Home. The home is a 5‑bed setting for males and females aged 8–18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties and other complex needs. The Deputy Manager will support and care for our young people and be responsible for a small staff team.

* Support and care for our young people and lead a small staff team.
* Assist with care planning, reporting, and coordination of care to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
* Contribute to the delivery of a holistic therapeutic approach to help young people address behaviours and take responsibility for their actions.
Qualifications and requirements
* A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential; willingness to study towards the Level 5 Diploma.
* Experience of team leadership or supervising a care team.
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential due to the location.

Our home is located between Mildenhall and Lakenheath in the Forest Heath District, bordering Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. It is a 5‑bed home for ages 8–18 with emotional, behavioural difficulties and other complex needs. The home seeks to provide a safe and understanding ethos and uses intervention and a holistic therapeutic approach.
Due to the location of the home, a Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Role and qualifications
A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential for this role; you should be willing to study towards the Level 5 Diploma. The ideal candidate will have experience of team leadership and the following characteristics:

* Communication: Clear communication with young people and within the team is vital.
* Organisation: You’ll oversee the staff team, update care plans, and report relevant information.
