POSITION SUMMARY:
Are you ready to take the lead in a dynamic environment? As the Cage Department Manager, you will oversee all operations within the Cage department, ensuring smooth cash management activities that drive efficiency and maximize our company’s revenues. Your role is crucial in adhering to company policies and Illinois Gaming Board regulations, safeguarding our assets while delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Lead the development and execution of objectives and goals for the Cage Department.
* Ensure efficient operations through effective labor management and inventory control.
* Maintain compliance with all Gaming and Title 31 regulations.
* Educate staff on fraud prevention and scams.
* Oversee hiring, training, and succession planning processes.
* Manage operational functions within approved budgets.
* Monitor department expenses and payroll.
* Deliver exceptional guest services aligned with our core standards.
* Contribute to the research and implementation of new products and services.
* Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee satisfaction.
* Collaborate with casino executives and departments for enhanced customer service.
* Respond to guest and employee complaints creatively and effectively.
* Develop training procedures for supervising and cashiering.
* Coordinate scheduling and resolve payroll issues.
* Create and implement standard operating procedures for Cash Operations.
* Continuously review and improve operational efficiencies.
* Ensure asset security in Cash Operations.
* Communicate effectively with all Casino Operational areas.
* Report to the IGC as per Indiana Gaming Commission regulations.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and AML/Title 31 regulations.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis)
We prefer candidates with five (5) years of progressive cage management experience and at least two (2) years of casino experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications as per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board regulations.
* Successful completion of a background check is required.
* Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial data and casino policies.
* Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
