These are full-time teaching roles, with both permanent and long-term opportunities available depending on the school and candidate preference.

About the Pupils and Their Needs
As an SEN Teacher, you may work with pupils who:
* Have autism spectrum conditions with communication or sensory differences
* Experience moderate to severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD)
* Have speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN)
* Find social interaction and understanding social cues challenging
* Have cognitive delays affecting processing, memory, or problem-solving
* Experience sensory overload or require carefully planned sensory input
* Feel anxious around transitions, changes to routine, or unfamiliar situations
A consistent, calm, and supportive teaching approach is key to helping pupils thrive.

Role Responsibilities
As a Full-Time SEN Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver structured, differentiated lessons tailored to pupil needs
* Create a calm, predictable, and supportive classroom environment
* Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and wider support teams
* Use visual supports, communication systems, TEACCH-style approaches, and sensory strategies
* Build strong relationships to support engagement, wellbeing, and positive behaviour
* Monitor progress through assessment and observation
* Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and reports
* Support personal care where required
* Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies at all times

* Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only
* Pay: Teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS), depending on experience
* CPD: Ongoing training, including autism, sensory regulation, and communication strategies
* Location: Farnborough and surrounding areas (e.g. Aldershot, Fleet, Frimley, Camberley)
