Finance Manager - Grant Revenue (Mid-Level)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the office
About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Manager (Grant Revenue) to join our Finance team, focusing on the tracking, forecasting, and reporting of grant income. This role has reopened following an internal move and offers an excellent opportunity for a solid mid-level finance professional to take ownership of grant revenue processes in a collaborative, delivery-focused environment.
This is not a strategic leadership role; instead, it is ideal for someone who enjoys structured reporting, understanding detail, and ensuring funding is accurately tracked and reported within agreed frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Track and manage grant income in close collaboration with the Earned Revenue and funding teams
* Monitor grant agreements and ensure payments are received within required timeframes
* Produce accurate forecasts, including identification of risks and opportunities
* Deliver clear gap reporting and variance analysis
* Prepare and own audit deliverables related to grant revenue
* Present data and insights in a clear, structured, and accessible way
* Maintain and improve existing reporting frameworks, with a focus on reducing manual processes over time
Systems & Tools
* Work with Business Force and Salesforce to manage and report on grant data
* Use Excel extensively for data analysis, tracking, and reporting
* Develop and maintain dashboards and structured reports (training available if required)
About You
* A solid mid-level finance professional (this is not a senior role)
* ACCA qualified preferred; part-qualified or nearing completion also welcome
* Ideally actively completing your professional qualification
* Strong Excel skills are essential
* Comfortable working with data, reports, and dashboards (advanced visualisation skills can be developed on the job)
