Purpose Of The Role
To provide efficient and effective high-quality vehicle maintenance and support to all employees of the workshop
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure fleet compliance records and workshop reports are completed correctly in date and efficiently retained.
* Conduct quality control inspections.
* Repair mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions.
* Ensure vehicles comply with statutory legislation.
* Ensure Brand image is of high standard.
* Troubleshooting breakdowns.
* Performing preventative maintenance.
* Contain costs.
* Evaluate service and parts options.
* Ensure facilities are secure.
Essential Requirements And Qualifications
* Qualifications in vehicle maintenance - G&G level 2/ IRTEC/ Manufacturer or demonstrable ‘qualified by experience’
* Working knowledge of the vehicle repair industry
* Practical experience in maintaining commercial vehicles
* Ability to work with Job Cards.
* Effective communication skills
* Hold a full driving licence valid for use in the UK
* To be able to attend training on related products
