Teaching Assistant
Milk Education is working in partnership with a lovely, welcoming primary school in Morpeth to recruit an enthusiastic unqualified Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and looking to gain hands-on experience in education.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the classroom, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils with learning on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
* Helping to manage behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes
* Supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development
* Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Experience working with children in the previous 2 years
* Have a genuine passion for working with children
* Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
* Have good communication and teamwork skills
* Be reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn
* Be committed to safeguarding and child welfare
