Our client, based in Frome, is currently recruiting for an Accommodation Support Worker on a permanent basis.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary is the equivalent of between £26,000 - £27,000.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable young adults, hold a enhanced DBS on the update service have access to their own vehicle.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Working with and supporting young people with developing independent skills to sustain their tenancyProviding timely and appropriate interventions to meet the needs of the individualHandling a variety of tenancy related needs including; sign ups, rent issues, debt advice and avoiding the breach of tenanciesDeveloping young people's independence using personalised independence plans Supporting young people into training/education/employment/volunteering as a priority and signposting young people to relevant agenciesWorking with external agencies on a regular basisAttending and contributing at events, meetings and activities with groups of colleagues, young people and partner agency staff, with the aim of contributing to service development both internally and externally
Experience required:

Working hours:
14. 37.5 per week
15. Rota shifts including 1 in 3 weekends - 8:00am to 16:00 pm and 12:00pm to 20:00pm
